The Labyrinth of Logic is in early preview. The site is free to use during this period. This policy describes how we currently handle data and will be updated as the product grows.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short and honest.

Who we are

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site:

• Email signup info — if you join the Logic Lovers list, we collect your first name and email address. These are stored by our email provider, Loops.
• Local game progress — your puzzle attempts and progress are stored in your own browser using localStorage. We do not see this data on our servers.
• Basic technical data — anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, browser type, country) collected by Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to help us understand how the site is used and where it can be faster. No cookies, no personal identifiers.

How we use your information

• To send occasional emails about new puzzles and product updates (only if you joined the Logic Lovers list)
• To understand which puzzles people enjoy so we can build more
• To improve site speed and reliability

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our puzzles are designed for users of all ages, including children under 13. We take children's privacy seriously.

• If a child under 13 will use the site, a parent or guardian should manage any email signup on their behalf.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
• The only data tied to using a puzzle is local game progress in the browser, which never leaves the device.
• We do not display advertising to any user.
• If you believe a child under 13 was signed up without parental consent, please email us and we'll remove them promptly.

Where your data is stored

• Email signups — stored by Loops (United States)
• Game progress — stored in your own browser (localStorage)
• Site hosting and analytics — Vercel (United States)

Who can access your data

Only the site operator (Benjamin Cohen LLC) and the service providers listed above (Loops, Vercel) have access to your data, each only for the purpose of providing their service. We do not share data with anyone else unless required by law.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of essential cookies that the browser uses to make the site function. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Vercel Analytics is a cookie-free analytics product.

Your rights

You can:

• See what we have — email us and we'll tell you what we have
• Be removed — email us or click "unsubscribe" in any email and we'll remove you from the Logic Lovers list and delete your associated data
• Clear your local game progress — clear your browser data for this site

If you are in California, the EU, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy laws, you may have additional rights. Contact us and we will honor them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date at the top. For major changes, we'll notify everyone on the Logic Lovers list by email.
